There was an issue with carbon monoxide at the Old King George Elementary School yesterday. Here’s what the School Board office had to say:

A roofing contractor was given a contract to replace/repair the roof on the School Board Office Building.  Yesterday, a diesel vehicle got stuck in the vicinity of the individual rooms HVAC system.  The vehicle was left running and the HVAC system drew the fumes from the vehicle into the building.  Several teachers were taken to the hospital and were diagnosed as suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning.  They have been told to take two days off and consult their primary physician before returning to work.
