Jaxon's photo was posted after his surgery and he was described as the man of the hour.
A few minutes ago, Danielle Brown posted on Facebook that her “miracle baby” Jaxon is doing fine after his eighth surgery.
On Wed., Feb. 8, Jaxon, who was born 16 weeks premature, had surgery to reattach his intestines and to place a feeding line in his abdomen. The surgery was a big step to get him ready for a triple transplant, which he needs to repair damage caused by his early birth or measures taken to safe his life.
Sorry for the next few details, which sound a little like TMI. But as anyone who’s ever had anything done related to the intestines, it’s important to know the insides are working and releasing gas is one way to find out.
“Jaxon is a little uncomfortable and doesn’t know how to deal with his farts and gas! LOL. But I tell ya this: he is farting and that is a great sign that his newly attached intestines are working!!”
Here’s a link to Jaxon’s blog and updates on his condition.
