Senior Nik Stewart and sophomore Henry Butler combined for 38 points as Culpeper earned a Battlefield District win.
Butler, who scored three crucial buckets with Eastern View attempting to mount a comeback in the final three minutes, wound up with 21 points with Stewart collecting 18.
Mike Kenney, one of four seniors honored before the game, chipped in 15 while Devonte Deans, another senior, tallied 10.
Ben Safrin, who led Eastern View with 21 points, scored 16 of them in the first half as the Cyclones kept it close before halftime.
But Culpeper shut Safren out in the third frame and held the Cyclones to seven points as the Blue Devils built their biggest lead of the night, 51–38, when Butler scored on a drive down the lane just at the buzzer.
The Cyclones managed to pull within five of the Blue Devils in the final period, but then Stewart and Butler took the game in hand.
Culpeper wrapped up second place in the district. It will host Courtland in Monday’s quarterfinals as Eastern View travels to King George.
