It’s budget season and election season all at once. While the county administrator prepares his FY2013 budget, the county is also prepping for the special Garrisonville election. That means there may be some changes for the next few Board of Supervisors meetings and some other items to note.

Here is the board’s schedule through April that was released last night:

Feb. 11 – 7:30 a.m. - special meeting at Belmont

Feb. 21 – 3 p.m. - regular meeting

March 6 – 7 p.m. - presentation of proposed FY2013 budget and CIP (no 3 p.m. portion on this day)

March 20 – 3 p.m. - regular meeting

April 3 – meeting rescheduled due to special election

April 4 - 3 p.m. regular meeting, 7 p.m. budget public hearing

April 17 - regular meeting, adopt FY2013 budget and CIP, and CY2012 tax rates
