Today a coworker asked “what’s wrong with you?”. This cartoon didn’t help my defense.
JC Penney hired Ellen Degeneres to plug their store…and a lot of conservatives are now boycotting the store because they think they’re promoting a gay lifestyle.
I hate boycotts. Whether it’s Rush Limbaugh selling orange juice or Ellen promoting JCP, I just don’t care enough to say “hey, fire that person.” If I don’t like it, I’ll just not buy the product. There are restaurants that discourage promoting gays, lesbians, African-Americans and I will not support them. But boycotting because someone does NOT discrminate, it’s ludricrous.
And yeah, I’m a sick, sick boy.
